Yea i have a CD with a bunch of scratches and I heard that putting it in the toilet and flushing gets all the scratches out...is it true??

I suspect someone has been "pulling your chain" so to speak.

I do not see anything magical about poppng a CD in the loo and flushing it.

Buy a proper CD scratch remover kit - or in extreme emergency, use toothpastse as a very mild grining pasted to gring out the scratches - but NEVER go around the CD, always from centre to edge.

No, this is just as bad as the whole "put peanut butter on the cd and place it in the microwave" thing

All thats gonna happen is your disc is going to get worse. I suggest looking up a Game Dr, it can resurface the cd, or try some D-skins.

Well I think who ever you heard that from wants to see if you are gullable enough to do it. I have never heard of such and would not recommend putting anything in the toilet besides poop or pee. Just get a damp cloth and wipe your CD real good, that always works for me. Good luck Hun stay away from that idea ok.

That sounds like a bad idea... I recomend buying real CD cleaner. They really work, and the toilet idea, may actually break and snap the CD with the suction...

Don't know but it be pretty stupid if you did it even if it did get scratches out the disk might go down the toilet or some other problem

No, its not true.. threes some machines you can buy to clean the scratches, you can buy them in CD stores.

wouldnt work buy a CD or DVD DR or to if u do that it'll *** up the disk
