It is nothing serious, but I keep getting mail in my myspace from people from this site called "amateurematch.com". I don't know how they got my myspace. I also would like to say that I have been getting a lot of friend requests from these "people" (I highly dought it) that want to be my friends. Is there anything I should know about this site "amateurematch.com" because I clicked the link and had to leave quickly. I know that I had a really bad virus that I got rid of that wouldn't let me on myspace and now that I am back on I get all these messages. Is there any advice anyone can give me?

I always get those friend request too. Your best bet is to go to edit friends, delete anyone that you don't know or that has no picture. They say the ones with no picture (this is only the people that you don't know) are the ones hacking into your computer. I also only get the friend request when i have sat online for a while.

The site itself is not dangerous. The downloads may be, I did not test any of them. If you are getting pop ups from the site someone on that computer has visited the site and possibly more. To get rid of it run the 2 scans below.

Run Spybot and Adaware weekly.

Download, update and run Spybot---http://www.safer-networking.org/... . Don't forget to use the Immunize feature.

Download, update and run Adaware---http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaw...

Now to prevent spyware from being installed in the first place....

Download SpywareBlaster---http://majorgeeks.com/download2859.html

SpywareBlaster doesn't scan and clean for spyware - it prevents it from ever being installed.

It's main features include:
- Prevent the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers, and other potentially unwanted pests.
- Block spyware/tracking cookies in Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox.
- Restrict the actions of potentially dangerous sites in Internet Explorer.
