I rebuilt a 2.8 oput of my 91 s10. I replaced everything. I didnt build it up for racing just a driver motor, everything is at stock specs. Any thing that needed replaces got replace. I have more than 1000 in it, its cheaper to build a small block chevy. But im trying to find a site or somehting where i can post it forsale. I know i wont get 1g out of it but id lik eto get around 900, but thats negotiable. Its on s10forum already bu ti mnto having alot of luck there. Any suggestions?

put it on ebay you can get more than $900 for it i have seen stuff get a nice price in cars and parts but you can get unlucky and get only $300 it just depends how much people want it just try around if you may find somebody who realy needs one and pays a lot for it

I own a shop, and can tell you the truth about that engine. You will have a hard time getting rid of it. You might try paying a visit to all the local shops, and engine shops that do rebuilds. Many shops would pay a good buck for the engine if they happen to be looking for one, but unless they are you couldn't give it away. Run it in the local Iwanna type paper, and like I said pay a visit to all the shops around to let them know you have one for sale. You might even take a few pictures of it to post on their bulletin boards if they don't mind. Who knows, you might get lucky and find someone who needs it, and you can do a deal.

you arent going to get 900 or 1000 for it, maybe 300-400 as there is really no big market for that motor, put it on EBAY.

try the "iwanna" - its a paper/mag and online as well - and the ad is free,so worth a try. good luck

really no demand...ask the local shop to put up a sign.

List it on http://www.craigslist.org

They allow you to list for free. Just watch for scams!
