Go for a walk in a park, if you really like each other you will soon find out, and it will be a nice memory for you both, that is if you both like each other, Good luck.

A movie is a nice first date and then out to get a bite to eat afterwards. This way if you do not know this person very well you could always talk about the movie to break the ice. Don't give too much personal information on your first date. Some things which you may think are basic conversations about your personal life may be a little too personal to your date. You can talk about school if you are in school or work and how you enjoy what you do, maybe just some family traditions etc..but nothing about old boyfriends or your children if you have any.

Lunch is always a good first date. talk, get to know each other. You can't (or shouldn't talk at the movies) Be yourself, if he/she likes you he/she likes you and if not, oh, well..there will be others. Dont try to pretend you're something you're not. Good manners and good hygeine are very important on first and all dates. treat t he other person with respect, never use foul language.....just be yourself and be nice....

The first, and most important piece of advice I can give you is to avoid the movie theater. It is just a terrible place to take someone...espeically when you are trying to get to know them.
Here are some excellent choices for first date ideas
Miniature Golf
Coffee Date
Museum
Picnic
Ice Cream

Be yourself and dont exaggerate. Say things you only mean.
You can ask the person how his/her day was. Ask what they do on their free time. Favorite music, favorite food. Tell him/her funny things that have happened to you ONLY if the conversation asks for a story or example - Dont start off your story by saying "Wanna hear something funny?"..... That would make it so not funny. If you have a story relating to the conversation, start the story off by saying "One time...." or "That happened to me. I was..." Something like that.
Where to go? He/She will let you know if you ask him/her the questions i just mentioned.
Good luck! Hope this helps!
