Im nearly 29 weeks pregnant. Over the last couple of days i have noticed i feel thirsty all the time. I am drinking water constantly and it doesn't seem to quench my thirst. Im also on the loo peeing every half hour. Im not sure if thisis due to the amount of water im drinking. Is this normal at this stage of pregnancy or should i be worried?

You should have already had a glucose test to check for gestational diabetes...If you haven't I'd request that one get done...That does sound like GD.
I had it, it wasn't a big deal it can definately wait til wednesday...but in the mean time...avoid sugars (even in fruits and juice), eat right and get some excercise...make sure you request the test on wednesday.
Also, you should be drinking obscene amounts of water...so keep that up...in the mean time...put some good books in the lavatory...you'll be spending quite a bit of time there. :)

There is a condition called gestationally diabetic...you might want the doctor to check your sugar level. The drinking water and peeing is a very good sign.

being thirsty during pregnancy is normal, however it can be a sign of gestational diabetes. i'm 38 weeks pregnant, not diabetic, and i am constantly drinking water, juice, anything really. it all has to do with the raging hormones.
at your next visit mention this to your doctor.

No worries ... Totally normal! You are retaining water and so you need more than usual. Your body is also producing more blood.
You pee a lot because there is pressure on you bladder from the baby .
Keep drinking water and going to the bathroom... it's ok!

I really sounds like diabetes. You can probably wait until Wednesday to have it checked but it might be a good idea to call now. You'll have to have a glucose tolerance test and that requires some fasting. If you're set up for that ahead of time, they can go ahead and do it.

it may be completly normal, due to increase pressure on your bladder ect and you may just be more thirsty but i would prbs suggest to get your blood sugar level checked with your doctor just to be on the safe side, as gestational diabetes is quite common (and very easy to control so do not panic)
better to get it checked just to rule it out huni
good luck and take care
