Where do i extract houses, careers, inc.... for Sims 2?

I just bought the game and i don't know where to extract houses, career, object, skin, inc....

So when i put the houses in the Sims 2 file, I don't put them in a folder?

Under your EA games folder, click Sims 2, and there should be a downloads folder. If it's not there, just create it. And put them there. Don't put your houses there, you can put your houses anywhere and click on them, it will ask you if you want to install it, just hit install, it'll put it in the right place. Everything else goes in downloads.

Go to My documents - Ea Games - The Sims 2 and check to see if you have a download folder. If there isn't a folder called Downloads in there then just create one. Extract all your downloads into that folder.
