I don’t thick rap is dead yet. You have some that are talented ‘not saying that all aren’t’, but some are trying to bring back rap to a more back in the day stile or at least getting off the money and car’s they uses to talk about all the time.

mainstream rap, yes

todays mainstream rappers, have shitty lyrics, they rap about pointless things they either never lived or things that aint worth bragging about and or they steal other rappers lyrics most notably ludacris

its sad, but true all those legendary rappers are dead or retiered and all the ones left are retarted.

in response to your bitchy little comment i tried all those questions for ages before decieding to post them... i'm sure if u looked more closely u wud see that they are all extremely difficult, not that it is any of your business. i suggest u stick to pondering the death/life of rap music and don't bother attempting to answer questions u have no idea about in future.

I don't agree with DEAD, but I don't want to here that fast, negative, hard-core, ghetto rap anymore. I love the mix of R&B with politically correct lyrics! (Jay z, Ludacris, Kanye West, COMMON, etc.)

it's not dead it's just not what it used to be and it's pushing people away from listening because it is violent and hateful and it puts a bad attitude on some young people.....
