How long does it take for my buenos aires tetras to breed?

I had them in a spereate tank for 3 days now and i feed them but i just found out im not suppose to.I kno i have a male and female and idunno when i should expect the eggs i bin checkign them every hour!!

Tropicals are often "shy" It wouldnt be any shock for them to die of old age before even giving you a single fertile egg.
