i have this now.i got it for christmas from my mom ..best gift...and i could hear at about 17 weeks..it took a little bit b.c the baby moves so much and it is hard for him to stay in one spot..but now im 28 weeks and anywhere i put it i can hear his heart beat b.c hes bigger..so they do work..try drinking something cold and lay on your back for a bit and move the doppler slowly around your stomach..and turn the volume all the way up cause the first couple of times it will be hard to hear..good luck and congrats..

I haven't used that particular brand (I rented one from Heartones), but they are all basically the same. I could hear my baby's heartbeat from 9 weeks, although that was after an hour of extreme frustration.

It's possible that your heartbeat is masking the baby's, and that's why you can't hear it. You also have to get it at just the right angle, which sometimes can take a long time to locate. Good luck!

I was about 32 weeks along before I was able to hear the baby's heart beat. It was really scary for the first while--I'd listen and wouldn't hear anything! It's really neat when you can hear it, but really scary when you don't. Not sure I'd buy one if I could do it over again.

If anything, save the money and borrow one...or buy a used one.

I have not used BeBe sounds but I used something pretty similar. They do not work at all. I used them through-out my pregnancy and could not hear anything. When I finally did hear what sounded like a heartbeat I was 8 1/2 months along

I think they are a waste of money honestly.

I remembered the name. It was called WombSong

We had one. I never heard the heartbeats and I had two babies in there to listen for! We always heard other sounds though (movements, swooshing from the placenta, etc.) That was still fun to listen to. You're a little early still. Give it some time. Best of luck to you.

Complete waste of money, I cracked and bought one with my last baby and I think I heard it once. I tried it off and on during my pregnancy and the most I ever heard was my son kicking the living daylights out of me lol

I did a LOT of research on these through numerous websites & I only saw 1 or 2 people that had them work. I wouldn't waste your money

In my opinion they're a piece of crap. The only thing I ever heard was if the baby kicked or hit the microphone.

Don't buy it, it's a complete waste of money. Not once did I hear my baby's heartbeat.

They could hear my baby's heartbeat at 12 weeks (my first appointment.) I've heard that they can hear it as early as 7 weeks, so I'd think that you'd be able to hear it by 15 weeks.
