music is so subjective that this question is pretty much impossible to answer.
we all have our favorites, for our own reasons - but there is no objective criteria for determining "best classic rock song". what era is "classic"? LOL
here are some of my favorites (in no particular order):

My CD collection...
most of them are a blues rock hybrid kinda music, but they'd still do the trick; after all, Cream and the Who was actually rythm n blues music.
Personally I would have to ensure Won't get fooled again is among the best ones tho.
