A sweater for my mom? A little turtle toy for my cousins new baby? A blanket for my cousin?

Well, first off, it depends how good you are. If you made a scarf and it turned out good... then you should be a pretty decent knitter. Here's a list of some things that you can knit up! If you scroll down to the bottom, you'll see my favorites.
1. sweater (like you said)
2. blanket (also like you said)
3. another scarf
4. gloves/ mittons
5. socks (they'll be warm and fuzzy!)
6. a hat (the ones that just slide on ur head)
7. a rist band (my grandma makes those alot.. they're fun to wear)
8. a pillow (just the outside of it... you could fill it with cotton or something)
9. if ur really good... you could try a shirt or something
10. small shoes for a baby
Whatever you want to do is cool. But i would pick the small baby shoes or socks. My grandma made both of those once. The shoes looked so cute on the baby! And depending on what kind of material you use, the socks could be real cozy and soft. If you want more of a challengs... then i would try to knit a shirt or a pillow or something. Also... rist bands and hats are usually easier.

The turtle toy and a matching blanket for your cousins new baby.
Women always have to try on clothes, so the sweater might not get worn, and blankets are hella easy and u can do it any time. Go for the turtle!

The blanket sounds cute. My aunt made me a blanket for xmas and it's so convinient...It's so warm..but yet it's not bulky and I can take it everywhere. So yea i'd say the blanket
