I bought something from this guy, got the item today, tried to leave feedback and says the guy is no longer a registered user..

Just as the message says.
Depends on the circumstances on why.
If someone closes their account - for whatever reason. Maybe he decided he didn't have time or energy to do that anymore.
If someone had several bad feedback; if his/her behavior via email or phone was inappropriate; if items he/she was selling were questionible or anything other number of policies were broken - ebay would black him and he would no longer be registered.

You are lucky then. Many times ebay will kick off a member for scamming people or ripping people off with shipping charges. Once they get enough complaints, the seller is kicked off. Check your item you recieved to make sure it functions however its supposed to and is authentic. If it is, just be happy, but watch out next time you buy. Make sure the seller has at least 100 items of feedback and that their feedback % is over 90 (I won't buy under 95 myself, but thats your choice)
If you do have a problem, file a complaint, and if you payed through paypal, a lot of times they can get in touch with the seller even after they lost membership (or disappeared) OR they will help get you a refund.

if he is NARUed then EBAY booted him for a very good reason. he DID NOT close his account.
account closures generally must have 180 days of inactivity.
be glad you got your item.
are you sure it is a genuine article and not a fake or counterfeit?

He either left ebay voluntarily or ebay has suspended his account.

He did something wrong they removed him.
