most generally the use the kind that just disappear on their own the get littler and littler till the little pcs fall out,this happens about 7-14 days afterward hope this helps good luck

They just dissolve. Not sure how long it takes for them to dissolve, but keep your doctor appt. to make sure all is healing properly.

i had my tubes tied last march when my daughter was born. they use dissolving stitches.

why would your doctor not have explained this to you? You should be more worried about having a doctor who isn't thorough enough to answer all your questions.

i'd assume that they are the type that would dissolve on their own though.

They probably gave you the ones that disolve. It will take a few weeks - don't pull at them.

when you have your tubes tied they use the dissovable ones..so dont worry..my older sister had hers done..
