You need a thermometer that goes to 2 decimal points, you can buy one that's specifically for BBT.

No. It is best to use the digital thermometer made for charting fertility.
This website discusses the differences in basal thermometers and regular ones. It has a link to a BBT thermometer you can buy but you may find one online for a little cheaper than that even.

should be ok as long as you use the same one each day. Your temp can vary by as much as 2 degrees between using an oral, under arm or digital ear thermometer.
