My wife is bi-polar, not on meds and pregnant for the first time. This will be my fourth, as I have 3 from a previous marriage, so I'm not as completely excited as she is. But the pregnancy moodswings, coupled with her bi-polar condition is a bit much for me to handle. She's 18 years younger than I, and I fear I'm a bit emotionally rigid and somewhat set in my own ways to adequately deal with her needs. I not only need prayer, but some decent advice would sure help!

I suggest that you speak with her doctor together. You can also contact a great organization called NAMI. You can find one near you via the Internet, email them, and/or call them. She should be on medications because her condition can worsen especially after the baby. Bi-polar is serious but when it's controlled by medications the person can do pretty well. I advise you to seek this help as soon as possible. My best friend is bi-polar and it's such a hard condition not only to live with but to deal with please start as soon as possible so that the both of you are feeling at ease by the time the new baby arrives. The help will be great for all of you. My best wishes.

What is the best way to deal with a Bi-Polar. pregnant wife?

The best way to deal with her is with a tire iron, burlap sack, a bag of concrete, and trusty old duct tape.
Just kidding...
After the fact well...just be patient. Maybe get out for some beers with the buddys.

little doubt my answer would be distinctive than actual everyone else. i'm sorry yet, once you create a laundry record of what's incorrect which comprise your spouse yet instruct no indication of seeing any fault in your self, it exhibits a dynamic interior the marriage it fairly is says there is extra advantageous than meets the attention in this one. What replaced into it from the previous that she holds onto? How replaced into it dealt with? Why did you "call the law enforcement officers" for a miscarriage? What have been the circumstances that brought about her to assert you "made her this way"? it could be uncomplicated for armchair psychiatrists on right here to diagnose her as a nutcase and allow you recognize to very truthfully break up. regrettably, from the minimum view of issues you gave us, that must be silly suggestion. there are various adult men obtainable that decision their companions loopy having no longer even a clue that the actual craziness is that the two companions created the explosive and bizzarre circumstances they got here across themselves in.

You obviously CHOSE to marry a bi polar woman...and you obviously CHOSE to impregnate a bi polar woman, it's just too damn bad her emotional state is a bit much for you to handle...you should have thought about that before you married her/before you dropped your drawers. Deal with it...

Talk to her and her Dr. to see if there's something she can take while pregnant. P.S. Find a peaceful place in your mind, because your in it. A bit more understanding would also go a long way.
