There is a long list of things I could say about emo people. As was once said in one of the greatest films/plays of all time, Steel Magnolias, "If you don't have anything nice to say, come sit by me." As is such, Here is my Jeremy the Emo Kid.
"Hi. I'm Jeremy the emo kid. I'm so ugly, I'm like the ugliest person on earth, or something. heh. I'm gonna go put thirty new pictures of myself on myspace now so I can b**** about how ugly I am. My life sucks. I live in a middle-calss neighborhood in a clean house with both my parents and my little sister. My life is so awful that I have to cry and sit in the dark writing depressing poetry about my sad, twisted fantasy life. Do you want to join my band? What, you can't play an instrument? That's okay. Neither can I."

Disclaimer: Jeremy is not a real person. He is based on my best friend's clingy ex-boyfriend. Any relation to real persons is purely coincidental.

Claimer: Don't steal my Jeremy the Emo Kid bit. You couldn't do it right anyway.

I hate the fact that the word 'emo' is even in use, particularly to describe people. You'll have to be more specific about these people to whom you're referring.

Wow, just read your profile...If you mean people who are depressed and cut themselves...I feel bad for those that are truly in that situation. You should read up on depression and self-harm. Maybe you'll gain a little understanding. If you're talking about those who act as though they're depressed and who make an effort to harm themselves in different ways...sounds like a cry for help. Regardless of how it's done, it's nothing to joke about.

I would hope that if anyone were in a truly desperate situation, that people would be more understanding and supportive...

Emo kids are everywhere. If you're depressed: fine. If you're "expressing yourself": fine. Don't think that being EMO makes you cool, it doesn't work like that. A lot of them are just seeking attention, and the only way to truly torture them is to ignore them completely.

Emo is like a Goth, only much less dark and much more Harry Potter.

Emo people..hmm first thing that comes to mind is 'why do they always feel sorry for themselves'.. if they wanna devote their life to sumfin (black hair, black clothes, paranoid looks) .. why don't they devote it to God.. someone that really cares.. emo people think they are different..but they fit in..bad thing...the only people that stand out (in a gd way) are the ones that live by God's Word..
