Much of what the government tells us is acually true, but its spun out of all recognition so that it can sometimes appear untuthful.
They have also of course told some downright lies as well (very dissapointingly as far as I'm concerned). I won't list them here, since considering the nature of your question you probably know what they are already.

It astounds me that even after 10 years nobody has noticed that an anagram of the PM's name is Tony B Liar!
If the present government announced that today's date was Monday 5th March 2007, I'd check a newspaper (even the least reliable gutter tabloid) before believing them!

I think without exception all politicians are lying crooks, but the current labour government are the worst, theiving, lying, ignorant, self-centred bunch of so called leaders we've had in a very long time, possibly ever. No, i dont believe anything they tell us, let alone everything

But do you believe ANYTHING the government tell you? In other words is this party political prejudice or or a general cynicism about government?

Can't say I believe much - but they will be gone soon. Just hope the next batch of trough merchants try to be more honest.
