If the player can't understand the meaning of good jazz and is "Cracking Up" Then I would suggest that you dump the bloody thing for something that Can feel the meaning of Jazz?
Try playing some Miles Davis.

I guess my stereo cries as much as I do; basically never. Cos I've played jazz CD's like there's no tomorrow and it's still merrily playing my music without any background sobbing noises. Might want to check your stereo... or put it in a psych ward - it might be depressed.

If you play the song- If I Should Loose You, from Booker Little, by the end of the trumpet solo, your stereo will need at least two boxes of tissues. Your appliances may need some consoling too.
