No, just because I'm white does taht mean I have to adore Carry Underwood and listen to country music. Of course not. race is only skin deep and music reaches into the soul.

No... just because you're black does not mean that you are genetically supposed to like rap music. But, don't think that the stuff on MTV, BET and on the radio represents the whole genre of rap music. Unlike someone stated above, there is plenty of positive rap music out there. Unfortunately, that is just not what is popular right now.

As far as not liking black guys... If they're just not your preference and you don't find them attractive, thats fine. Everyone is entitled to their preference.

Heh heh. According to the community where I grew up, yeah. I was always ridiculed for speaking intelligently, loving rock and classical music, and am now involved with a white guy.

What many blacks don't realize is that rap is a ploy to keep them where they are. White producers benefit from blacks making themselves look like complete morons. Too bad not many people can see this.

A black person doesn't have to like rap. I'm white and I don't like polkas. I don't get the black guys thing. I could see a black person having fun hanging with other races, but not liking his/her own race wouldn't make sense.

Hey I'm black and I loved punk back in the day and can't stand rap now (I mean it was okay for the first 5 years or so, but c'mon!). But I didn't limit myself on women, blacks and any others were fine with me!

Rape music I would say no if it is offensive but as for black guys it depends if you are stereotyping. But you are entitled to like whatever you like one of my friends wouldn't date black guys either but she love rap music.

I don't like rap and I married a white guy. I don't care if its socially suitable pr not, I won't be confined to another person's standards, nor judged by their beliefs.

No. It looks like a few of us are not following our animal instincts.

I've been fighting cRap noise for years. It take no talent to create that garbage.

As for disliking brothers, well, some of us have a lot to dislike.
