Studying human experiences requires researchers to ask people about their thoughts and feelings and the intensity of their feelings.
Thoughts and feelings are difficult to scientifically measure.
These observations are secondhand.
Communication styles vary with moods and cultural backgrounds.
Other sciences study things that are more easy to measure, like what the scientist sees or hears.
