I got black suede boots that come to just over the tops of my knees. What should I wear with them?

You could wear a mini skirt if your up to it, or one of those short dresses that are in at the moment. Or if you're like me and don't really like to show off your legs you could wear some jeans with it (not baggy but they don't have to be skinny either, bootcut would do just fine) which you could tuck in.
But experiment and see what you like best - you could probably come up with some really imaginative ideas.

A skirt. Any length really, just not too short. Don't go too skimpy with your top either. A lot of boot and a little clothes will make you look like a hooker. I have a pair of boots picked out that I want (velvet over the knee) and I already know what I'm wearing with them. My denim skirt (longer than a mini, but still above my knees) and a black tee.

A tight skirt that goes all the way down to your knees can look very sophisticated.
Skinny pants are really in right now, and if your legs allow it, use the boots on top of the pants .
A skirt that is tighter on top and looser from the thighs down can look really nice.
Use heavier fabrics with it. Don't wear anything with flowers in it . Winter boots and summer skirts don't go together.
Whatever you do , don't wear a short skirt with high boots.

Skintight jeans that you can pull the boots over is one idea.
another is a nice skirt can be short or longer. mini skirt would look nice.
or for those private moments some nice stockings and matching bra and panties and someone to share it all with.

I like young girls in jeans. It creates them look more city like and it doesn't appear to be they try too much but if you're trying to get this folks attention, this might not exactly be what you want

I do enjoy putting on long skirts once in a while. They are really actually convenient than Jeans rather than as hot to wear also.
