Just rediscovered an old CD I used to love with Muddy Waters "Mannish Boy" and Howlin' Wolf's "Smokestack Lightning" - can you make any recommendations along those lines? Thanks in advance!

I saw the "Mannish Boys" at the Doheny Blues Fest last summer and was I impressed. There are so many great blues artists, my favorite Buddy Guy. Muddy is Muddy and Wolf is Wolf many copy them but you cant beat the originals. Check out Yahoo music and select blues, great music have all the greats.

if you like muddy waters, check out elmore james. also if your serious about the blues try robert johnson, this is about as hardcore as it gets, then theres leadbelly, the giant of the twelve string. if you want electric blues, try buddy guy or even johnny winters.
