Your father sounds a very nice & interesting man. I don't quite understand your question though re. how to entertain him? Doing all that he does helping people, ,working on computer, etc. I would have thought he is already spending his time very well & entertainingly as well as positively. If you think he still needs to do something more, would he like to correspond with someone who could benefit from his wisdom?

have him volunteer..he could call people in his town and check up on the elderly..i volunteer my time as I am a nurse aide and i am 62 but there are a lot of loney poor people who don't have any one to chat with time on the phone or the telephone.
i too am a male and like to talk to people who are down on their luck as maybe their family has moved on or illness has put them in a wheelchair or a bed for life..your father sounds like my father he was a man of faith and he to had a lot of compassion for his fellow man

Why would you want to entertain him?
He's an intelligent adult man.
If you want to show him you APPRECIATE what he does for people then organise a party or something for him with all the people he helps attending it
