i'm not talking about the specific stuff you get from the store for tanning. i'm talking about using olive oil or something like that. has anyone ever heard of using that? if so, why and does it work? also how?

also, does using regular sun lotion, the kind to protect your skin, can you not get a tan when using it?

I used to use baby oil and boy does it speed up the process. Works great if you really want a quick tan. I try not to get too much sun anymore because the older you get, the more cautious you get.

if you use some thing like olive oil you are going to get a bad burn not a good idea

I use baby oil with iodine in it.It really works great.I have herd you can use a can of coke.But that would be nasty.Ants will eat you and the sticky is nasty.
