I think that if someone had discovered that he did, it would have been plastered all over the news and we would have heard about it. Maybe you're thinking of his first VP, Hannibal Hamlin. There's some good evidence that he was biracial.

He may have been a Melungeon, a person of tri-racial heritage. Usually, these people were known as Black Dutch, Black Irish, or "Portaghee". If you Google the word Melungeon, you will find many interesting theories and legends and histories about what heritage they might possess. Most popular theories: Intermarriage with various American Indian tribes, descendants of Slavic seamen, and perhaps Spanish or Turkish origins. Lincoln's mothers' name was Nancy Hanks, and Hanks is a well-researched Melungeon surname.

Seeing as how he's not an alien, he did have African ancestors, as did 100% of humanity.... Unless he evolved from a line independent from all the earthly DNA tracings.
