i have dsl internet and my "internet" light is red, not solid green. i can't get connected. it's been like that for 2 days now. what's wrong and what should i do?

Shut down the modem and restart it. If it doesnt connect, call your provider. Some modems also have disconnect buttons, make sure yours is on if you have one.

You're internet light WHERE? On the DSL modem? On a router?

It could be any number of things... the first thing I'd do is call your DSL provider.... it's there system... they can probably run remote diagnostics and/or determine if there's a problem in the line. If there is a line problem - YOU can't fix it - the DSL provider has to arrange for repairs - so talk to them first.

call your dsl company. it is more than likely the connection between your modem and computer or router if you have one. they can help you track down the problem.
