Sounds like one of the elements has gone, or a faulty selector switch. You will have to get an electrician to check.

You will probably find that it is the splined plastic cog in the temperature control knob, these strip the cogs regularly but are cheap (less than £5) & easy to renew. If you phone MIRA with your model number they are very helpful. A tip is to turn the setting to cold when you finish showering & let the cold run for a few seconds, it is the heat of the hot tap before mixing that causes the plastic cog to become brittle.

As jayktee says its likely that one of the two elements in the shower cylinder has failed.
Time for a new shower.
Try to get the same make and model to minimise the work involved for the plumbing.
Good luck

Mira are really helpful when you ring them. They have maintenance kits available for their showers which are simple to fit yourself. Contact details are on www,mirashowers.com.
They helped me sort out a similar problem with a shower fitted in a previous house by a previous occupant, I only knew it was one of their showers, not make/model etc.
