Well, I got a new laptop, but apparently, it doesn't have internet connection. Sometimes if I'm lucky, it does get provided by "linksys", but most of the time, it is disconnected. So, I'm thinking of buying a wireless internet at Staples or Best Buy. Do any of you guys know a good wireless internet that is worth buying? Thanks in advance~

Get a Linksys Wireless-G router. You'll be happy you did. They usually sell for $59.00, but you can occasionally pick one up at Staples for $49.00. Don't bother with the one with "Speed Booster" for an extra $20.00. The regular Linksys Wireless-G will be fine. It'll run at 54Mbps, much faster than any current broadband connection.

I personally like the Linksys hardware. Its not yet done me wrong.

From your question though, it almost sounds like you are able to piggyback off of a neighbor's connection at times. Remember that by simply buying a wireless router, you dont automatically have an internet connection. You do still need to subscribe to something like DSL or Cable internet for that functionality.

Linksys is awesome. It is a wireless router. But you need highspeed Internet to use it. I'd say go for comcast or DSL>

Ok, I had the same problem a while ago. But, I found out the best way that suits me (maybe you too).

Get an Internet Service Provider (I use Comcast Cable Internet) and buy a router. Connect and enjoy highspeed 52 mbps (my router speed) of wireless internet! =)
