I don't endorse the war and once heard I live in the land of freedom and fair trials. I haven't met many republicans that disagree with the war, and vica versa for democrats and liberals. Let's start letting them at least donate through their taxes? Isn't that fair?

Republicans do not engage in activities that do not directly benefit them in some way, shape, form, or fashion.
I think the should donate their children since they are so gung-ho about killing "terrorists", but we all know that will never happen.
Illegal aliens do not raise taxes, nor does any US citizen pay for illegal aliens. That is Republican propoganda and you cannot find an actual source to back that up because it does not exist.

Reagan, Bush sr. and now Bush jr. all cut taxes and ran up large debts for the nation. It would be like you cutting down to part time and then getting extra credit cards and going on a spending spree. You could brag about all the stuff you bought, plasma tv, new computer, etc.... But you are going to go broke if you don't start paying more than the minimum on your debt. The USA’s national debt is increasing by $2.43 billion everyday. People expect the state debt to top the ten trillion dollar mark in the next few years. I didn't like Clinton much, but he did draw down the debt. He did what the republicans stand for, fiscal conservatism.

Actually, we do have to pay for illegal aliens. They're artifically deflating our economy. My ma works as an orthodonist. Every time an illegal comes in and gets work done, who sees the check ? Not the immigrant ! And don't you think by them taking the money they earn, and not spending it here, but instead bringing it back to where they're from couses some stress ? I'm no major in economics, in fact I go to a hippie art highschool in baltimore, but I realize those little things.

When the liberals pay back to the American taxpayers all the costs of FDR's war (i.e. WWII) and Truman's war (i.e. Korean War) and JFK's war (the Vietnam quagmire) then you can ask this question.
Don't forget, John F. Kerry said "I voted for it before I voted against it." and Hilliary, as well as other Dems voted *for* it!
Also, don't forget there have been no further terrorist attacks on American soil since 9/11!

Why don't Democrats pay for all of their "far-reaching" social programs out of their own pockets? I mean, if they have enough money around that they can commission private jets and own massive houses, surely they could set the example they so often preach by doing away with such extravagances and living like the ordinary people they are.

So, will you pick up the costs of Social Security, Welfare, Medicaid, Medicare, Education, HHS, HUD, Agricultural welfare, etc, - all programs that are of dubious constitutional legality? We don't believe in welfare or socialism at the federal level.
Will you Democrats pick that up? It IS the majority of spending...

We are paying for it. And yes we should be able to contribute directly to the programs that we support. I wonder then who will pay for social welfare for illegal aliens that the liberals want to take care of?
