Avoid the Sony and go with Toshiba, and here's why.

Sony made EXPLODING BATTERIES.
Sony is known for poor customer support.
Sony is known for JUNK.

Toshiba is known to make good and reliable notebooks. Their table pcs look great too.
Toshiba has awesome service support. The GUY that knows the answer... answers the phone. There is no need for LEVEL 2.

Good luck and Happy Computing!

Go ahead and purchase a Sony, HP, Compaq, etc, but I am 100% sure you'll once again purchase a Dell, because Dell doesn't sell their high quality products in local stores. And Dell computers last for a long time compare to those I previously mentioned...

I hope you have a great computing experience with the rest of computers that Dell dominates every year.
