The Dixie Chicks said something in regard to, in a concert over sea's, that they were not for this war which is based on false premise. Saying something like "stick a boot up your ***" Toby Keth would probably result in you being thrown off the stage in Europe. So in fact the remark made by the dixie chicks is anything but rude in Europe which is where they were. You can kind of see why we are in this war in Iraq when some patriotic women who are only against a stupid idea which is more obvious when you review the "intellegence" pior to the war that people accually run around and make there lives difficult. I mean who needs to get a life? I think that the Dixie Chicks are more into there music than what happens in the circus (that's the middle of government) and they saw some rediculas logic which has proved to be false and said a comment over sea's to a crowd which is certanly against this war. (they don't get the propaganda machine like we do) (at least they don't get our propaganda machine) and Texes went ape sht over it. Which in turn only worked to boost there reputation INTERNATIONALY and work to make the war in Iraq effort look a little silly. I would say every act against the dixie chicks is certanly a act to end the war and I thank you for your effort. WAR IS BAD good job chicks!!

Apologize to Satan? Why on Earth would you do that? The Dixie Chicks said what millions were thinking. It saddens me to see that so few respect free speech. Its absurd to ask them to apologize. Just like it is absurd for the president to apologize for being, quite possibly, the most inept head of state ever. The Dixie Chicks arent stupid, far from it. Expecting them t apologize for a legitimate opinion is stupid however. Free speech!

Maybe they didn't speak without thinking. Maybe they knew exactly what they were saying. Who are you to say they can't voice their opinion? Since they said that about Bush, there's been a lot to prove that they're right, that he has made stupid decisions. So I don't think they were completely out of it. I don't even particularly like country music but I know they're talented. Who says they had to apologize and take it back? They obviously stand for what they believe in and don't want to do either of those things. I think you should get a life and quit worrying about what they said years ago. Everyone has different opinions, even celebrities.

I just think they had a lot of gall accepting the Country award at the Grammys after publicly saying that they are no longer doing country music.

I'd have had much more respect for them if they had gone on stage and declined the award instead of doing a Nelson "ha ha" and making a**es of themselves.

Natalie needs to have a muzzle put on her.

They need to apologise for being rude and yet your president doesn't need to apologise for sending over 3000 young men and women to their death, based on a lie that there were weapons of mass destruction...which don't actually exist. Yeah, that's fair.

You know girl, the President of The United States doesn't even have a problem with what they said, so why the hell are you still bitching about it? GW said long ago, that they are entitled to express free speech and their opinions, then added that he really enjoys the music they make. Sounds like it's you who needs to find a life.

Willy Nelson did and said pretty much the same thing? Why isn't Toby Keith and others attacking him?
Granted what she said was tasteless, but i don't see how its fair that one group should be brought down to "size" when in fact it happens on a daily bases
