How many CITY ROVER CARS are there in UK?

I thought that city rover cars from rover were really rubbish then why is it that i see lots and lots of city rover cars in UK now days. WHY? and are they any good because i heard that they sell them in some other countries as well e.g. in south africa, parts of europe, india etc. And are they really cars which are made by rover or are they made by someone else. Would you please tell me if city rover is worth buying or not. I think this way because i am seeing city rover cars everywhere i go now days especially in london.

Did you know that the cars were bought by Rover for £3000 and Rover then sold them onto the unsuspecting great british public for £6000 and when parts were ordered, the parts would arrive in NO particular order, the original manufacturer would fill a consignment with whatever spares were available and it was pot luck if the parts needed were supplied or not!!

The manufacturer is Tata of India and the build quality is not to european standards. My brother works as an automotive engineer and he confirms that these were imported at £3000 and sold at £6000, it seems all of a peice with the financial shenanigans of the "Phoenix Four"

You're right, lots seem to have just started appearing.

These cars were manufactured in India, and build quality is terrible. Equipment is very poor, with even basic safety items missing.

Who would buy one - at any price?

think you'll find that anything made by Rover is gonna be pretty crap if it was built before the late 90's.

after that they did improve a little bit but your money might be better off going towards a push bike lol

they are crapepst cars ever my dad had a lot of problems with his though he said not very good but go ahead ur in 4 a big bill if something goes rong m friend unless it ws him n has fat botty doing the damage
