They always do that in soaps, make a "heart throb" out of someone who is certainly not all that! Then you get really attractive people not having any love interests at all, thats not true to life, here is an example.
Sonia in Eastenders, she must have been the most lusted after female on Albert Square (Jamie, Gus, Martin, Naomi!) then you had girls like Dawn, Zoe Slater etc never get a date!!!!
