In december dr's found that i had a cyst in my right overy. last month they checked it and said it was gone. But now i am having really weird periods. Last month it came 2 days early, lasted 2 whole days, completely stopped then started again lasting another 2 days. That has NEVER happened to me, so i went to the dr and she pretty much just laughed at me and said that it normal to have a weird period every once in awhile. So after that i am thinking about switching dr's. She told me to keep an eye on the up coming periods and if they continue to be weird, then come back. So anyways, this month my period came on Friday, 1 day late, lasted that whole day, then on saturday, i had very little bleeding, and same on sunday and today. My "normal" periods came every 32 days, since last July, and lasted 7-8 days, with bleeding every day. So my question is what could be wrong? I don't wanna be laughed at by the person i should be trusting, unless absolutely necesary. Oh, i'm not on bc since 6/06

The first thing that comes to mind is your thyroid. I'm a nurse and worked in womens health. If women had such irregular periods like yours, we tested their tyroids. It is not likely to be connected to the cyst. Get a second opinion. Good luck.
