The visions convince starbuck to give in to her death
In the original series Apollo was tricked into being killed by a being called count Iblis, he's pretty much the devil, his victims have to be willing to give in to him, when apollo was killed the beings of light resurected him to stop Iblis
Could this be the introduction of Count Iblis, and could Starbuck be resurected to kick his supernatural ***

Interesting theory, anyway - and we do already have "beings of light" in the vision of the Final Five. So, could be. Only the producers know for sure, of course.

I don't know, but having one's ship break-up in the atmosphere doesn't seem like much of a destiny.
