I will be there this week for a trade show and am looking for a local place to hide out, drink some cocktails and avoid the tradeshow crowd. I am staying on Harbor Bvld.

You should check out Dave and Busters in Orange, it is at the Block at Orange which is an outdoor mall. Dave and Busters is so much fun, games and drinks what more could you ask for?

If you dont mind a short drive you can go to Orange and check out Danny K's. It is a pool hall with alot of Beers on tap, well poured drinks, and a cool sportsbar atmosphere. If you are more into the dive thing, I would try the Pump room...It's also in Orange, but a fun little spot with three pool tables and a great jukebox. Heres the catch, it is a beer only bar...but the bartenders are friendly, hot, and wear either bathing suits or lingerie. (If you are into that kind of thing) Also, there is a bar called the green mug off lincoln in anaheim, thats a cool place. Also, if you want to see a show there is "Chain Reactionoff Lincoln in anaheim, they showcase local bands. It is an 18 and up place, so expect some kids, but also some good music.

Dowtown Disney is OK. Lot's of different stuff. But it's Disney. The best real place to go is "The Catch" on State College. It's right across the street from the Angel's Stadium. If your convention is there, you can walk to it. Great food and atmosphere. Raw bar too. It's a winner.

There's a place right across from Disneyland called, Millies. My brother goes there sometimes. Its a great place to hang out.
