How much per kg is top quality copper fetching these days?

Been to a few sites, nearly all scrap dealers trying to rip you off. Whats copper actually worth in pounds and pence.

As of 5 march, LME prices (CASH BUYER), $5,810.00 per Tonne.

Needless to say, if you only have a few Kg's you will get a lot less :-)

i heard a figure of 2400 a ton but i,m not sure how accurate that is that would make Â£2.40 a kg
