just select the first answer in the undecided questions? I went and did a lil voting today and i swear every winner was the very first response. lol

I think a lot of times, the first person to respond, will have a really good answer, and the people that answer after that, can't compare to it! That's when you get the answers that are short or glib or yes/no, just because the answerer is already there, and might as well snag 2 points.
Personally, if I click on a question, and there's already a very good answer, I'll just give a thumbs up, and move on.

I don't do it, but now that you mention it, I don't like that idea!

Funny though, one of the undecided questions I answered I had the first answer and I bet I won't get best answer!

No, I actually read all the responses and in most cases the first answerer is correct.

Yap, most just do it for the points which lead some askers to lament that the chosen best answer by voters was not even an answer to what was asked.

Most of them...not everyone reads the answers before they vote.
