I think that is a pretty name. My first child I gave a "normal" name (Ashley Marie) then I had four more and named my fifth (Dakoa Seoul). By the time I had my fifth child I realized that kids will make fun of anything. Someone with a "normal" name might be made fun of for having big ears (etc...). Kids are cruel no matter how hard you try to keep your child from it. Congrats and good luck!

Isn't Rowan one of Brooke Shields' daughters? So it's a girls name. Besides, names are going so far from where they used to be. I mean, when I was young Jordan was a boy's name, but now there are tons of girls named Jordan, so go figure.

Christine is lovely, drop the Rowan; celebrities aside, this is NOT a nice name. It's one of those stupid trendy ones that are more about the ego of the parent than anything else.

Yeah I agree with you. Personally if I saw the name written I would probably think it was a male's name. I like Kristine though! Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!

Just try a different spelling. How about Rowanne? Or Roeanne? Besides I looked it up and it's for a boy or a girl.
