It is probably a result of the water that you retain from being up and around during the day. Most pregnant women find they look much larger at nighttime. Don't worry - soon your baby will be so big, you will look pregnant all day long!

Your stomach, hair, ears, fingernails, feet, nose, breasts, and even your attitude will undergo many, many changes before the pregnancy is all over.
Face it--nature has taken over your body, and you may as well relax and enjoy the ride. I suggest you get a nice rocking chair for soothing the baby, and spend the next five months knitting cute little items while rocking yourself in it. No point getting your nighties in a knot about physical changes from this point forward.

its because in the morning, your food is all abosorbed, at night your eating more and when you get full your tummy is harder and bigger. Im not sure on why lol but its the truth. Im 24 weeks pregnant and i still have an almost flat tummy when i lay on my back and in the morning, but any other time of day its not so small lol :)

lol yup. I had that for sure. I iddn't look pregnant until night time. Trust me, it wont last too much longer. Ever since I got to be around 5 months it doesn't go down in the morning. So enjoy it while you can lol

that's just the way the body is. even notice before you were pregnant that you always look skinny in the morning and fatter at night. it's probably something to do with water distribution in the body or something.

I'm not sure this is exactly what you're asking... but, during the first half (or so) of your pregnancy, your uterus will slip back when you're laying on your back. Then, if you stand up, it'll fall forward again.

That happened to me too. It's because you eat and drink throughout the day so you get bigger at night.
