You saw the play, Duke vs. NC. Less than a minute to go. Hansborough had the rebound off the free throw a foot from the basket. He was deliberately creamed.
We know the foul and the intent to injure was deliberate. Black players do this. Isn't this incident and others like it racially motivated? Isn't this just the latest?

More than likely, it was a question of the "dislike" that exists between UNC and Duke rather than a racially motivated attack.

munya........are you a girl?

whitney, it was very, very, very intentional, and im not a tar heels fan. he didnt intend to hurt the guy, but he had his thumb up his *** standing 8 feet from the play and ran in with the intention of fouling hard.....i will defend coach k though as people are saying the program is dirty and i would say duke has the classiest program of any of them, but you better watch the whole replay before you say it wasnt intentional. the ball was completely out of the play so how was he going for the ball? he saw the ball was no where near tyler and looked right at him and blasted him with an elbow. billy packer is an idot saying that was bad officiating.

and to answer the question, if this was racially motivated, then henderson would have already injured almost every teammate he has, because they are 80% white! did you think of that? and what do you mean black players do this? the roughest, dirtiest players to ever play the game were white (bill lambier and john stockton)....rodman also, but give me a break

Why does someone always have to play the race card?? It was a hard foul. Nothing more, nothing less. Shouldn't have happened, and he was penalized. It was unintentional but punishment had to be handed down. What do you want to hear? Henderson went for handbrough with a malicious elbow because he was white? His team is predominantly white. We should be above race by now.

You are thinking way too much into this. Although, I agree if the play was reversed and Hansborough threw the elbow, Al Sharpton would be protesting outside the arena.

what the heck are you babeling about. it wasn't an intential foul. hansbrough is just stupid. he went up for a ball with three or four duke players around. something was just bound to happen. but you always blame the black guy. it's hansbrough's fault. Ten bucks says you're white.

looked to me like he was going for the ball, but did it too aggressively and wrecklessly. It was a dumb thing to do, but I don't think it was racially motivated. Maybe he was frustrated about his team getting owned so badly by a rival?

because whites were a dominate rigidity for see you later that no man or woman makes use of that style of mentality on them. Now issues are leveling out except that previous mentality continues to be there. in my opinion i imagine that is ridicules. yet that is a discovered theory. even as people quit pointing fingers at different races for there complications and commence to take duty for them. Then we are able to all be equivalent. Or a minimum of extra so. till then, merely be a higher man or woman and take duty for your self. merely shake your head at each and each of the stupid those who cant figure it out.

I'm not black and I'll tell you what, I've done the same thing guarding the basket and I've done it accidentally and I've done it on purpose. Sometimes those elbows are hard to keep under controll---OOPS! So there.
Basketball is basketball, it's a contact sport.

NO!!!!
Race does not play a role in all bad things that happen...
Looked to me like he went for the ball but was a bit careless about it.

basket ball is a contact sport. Sometimes you contact black skinned players, sometimes they contact you. Same for the white skinned , the Oriental, the Hispanic and all them others.

Stuff happens.
