Some people use it and their clothes smell great, I use it too and my clothes dont smell like that, what am I doing wrong?

Use a liquid fabric softener in the water of your washer cycle followed up with dryer sheets that are a matching smell (Downy or Gain has this option).
Often, a closet that is musty causes the fabric softener smell to die quickly. Try to also get your closet smelling better with sachets or cedar blocks (both found easily at bed bath and beyond). GOOD LUCK!

Gain with a touch of softness laundry soap. It has fabric softener in the soap so you don't need dryer sheets. It smells fantastic and gets your clothes really clean and wrinkle free!

i use tide clean brezze, laundy soap and then i use downey cleand brezze for fabric softner. I love the smell of clean laundry. Thats what works for me. Good luck!

I'm a laundry fanatic, if it's liquid Simple Pleasures (any scent)
and for dryer sheets I use Bounce with febreeze
