Fertility drugs aren't sold over the counter, but there's a tremendous underground market for them. There are herbs and supplements that claim to help with fertility, but as with other naturopathic supplements, they're generally unproven and unregulated, meaning the quality can be inconsistent and there may not be a lot of evidence that they work. They also may interfere with other medications you take. I'm not saying "Don't take them" just "be very careful and research carefully what you choose to take."

Fertility medications also require the monitoring of a doctor to ensure healthy follicular development and to avoid things like ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, which can make you very ill. If you're having fertility concerns, the best thing to do really is to consult to with a doctor or health care provider who can help figure out why and what the best course of treatment is.

No, but there are a number of herbal supplements believed to help fertility that are available OTC. Talk to your doctor before experimenting with these, as they can react adversely with medications and certain medical conditions.

I used Ovulex and conceived the first cycle that I took it. Before that we had been trying for 5 months without any luck. Ovulex is an herbal 'drug', so you don't need a prescription. You can buy it from the website www.ovulex.com or get it on eBay (that's where I got it!).

Not really. You can buy certain vitamins that say they aide in fertility, but nothing that is 100% to work.
