in this equation it doesn't really matter if you balance carbon or hydrogen first, but always do oxygen last.

Here's the equation:
C3H8 + O2 --> CO2 + H2O

And you should get something like this:
C3H8 + 5 O2 --> 3 CO2 + 4 H2O

In such problems, always follow the order C, then H, then O.

C3+ H8 +O10 ------> 3CO2 4H20
