I am curious about this turtle figurine I found on Ebay, I have one Identical and would like to know if there is anything interesting about it.

It is marked Peerage, England on the bottom of his head

They were made by the Peerage metal works in
England anywhere from 1920-1940. Usually from solid brass. The little turtles and frogs were used as weights to hold down tablecloths wneh eating outside to keep them from blowing in the wind.
