after my brokup with me he told the girl he was trying to get with that he never loved me & was not physically attracted to me. NOW, I can honestly tell you he told me many times How much he was attracted to me &he showed it when we were together. Lets just say I dont have a problem getting a date. I am not a vain person but, he hurt me very badly. I was close to him and his opinion of me mattered. No matter what, I would have never devalued him to be with another guy. Why did he say this. When I confronted him he told me that wasnt true, but if she is a liar why did he continue to be with her? She is the one who told me. Needless to say I severed all ties with him because I dont trust him in any manner anymore. Can someone tell me what or why he said these things about me, I never did anything to him, in fact he broke up with me to be with her. I helped him thru alot when we were together, why would he go to these extremes? We are 29yrs old!! He acts like he's 13.

Mia, this guy is a jerk! He has low self esteem, you have to be able to see that. I read some of your answers, and alot of people said he wanted to make the new girl feel better.
Well Mia I don't buy it. He did not have to say any of those mean and nasty remarks at all. If she is secure with him, why would that be a concern? All he had to say was that things between you and him just did not work out. As for who is more attractive, that should not even be a issue, the reason for most relationships failing, is lack of communication, etc. etc. You say he acts 13, I thought he was, before I read the part that he is 29!
Mia did you ever consider the fact is, he is to childish and he found himself a woman who tolerates his stupidity!!!!! Why else would a grown women, tell you this gossip!!! She sounds 12! I really use the term woman lightly. A real women would have no reason to relay this dirt! Only a little girl would need to validate her worth with such nonsense!!!
You in no way should bother with this guy. There is no point. He is not even a man yet! He may never be. You are the lucky one, count your blessings!!!
The real one will come along, when you least expect it. And he will be your true best friend, and your love!

He probably did say those things, but it doesn't mean they are true or that he even thinks they are true. He probably said them to his new girlfriend to make her feel more secure about their relationship. To assure her that she has nothing to fear about you two getting back together again. You're right, it is immature, but that's just how some people are. You are broke up with him, so it's time to move on and let him do the same. There are some nice guys out there for you. You don't have to deal with middle school crap. Good luck.

Because he's a guy and most guys will say or do whatever they need to say or do to get what they're after. He's a liar and you're right not to trust him. Good for you for moving on because that's clearly the best thing you can do. By saying those things he's just confirming the fact that he's a jerk and you're better off without him.

he was attracted to both of you.........he meant it when he said it.......but he had to tell the other girl that he was never attracted to you........girls hate being compared to past gfs..........and what kinda asshole would he be if he told the girl he likes that his last girlfriend was hott!.......my guess as a guy, he was very attracted to you but for some reason is more attracted to this girl.....he just said it to save face with his new girlfriend......sorry he is a dick tho
