No, really. Had a discussion about it recently. Roughly:
'Maternity overalls are super-hot. Lots of men think so.'
'Why? They're hideous.'
'I don't know... I suppose it says 'I have sex, and I'm comfortable with it.''
I thought (1) this was pretty funny, and (2) that it was extremely unlikely to be a common sentiment.
Given how unpleasantly maternity clothes with waists fit, I am sympathetic to wearers of overalls, but...sexy? NO. Not even marginally appealing. Or am I missing something? Men, please weigh in...

Well, judging by the fact that maternity overalls were about the only maternity thing my husband begged me NOT to buy, I'd have to say that he does not find them sexy.

Im pregnant with baby number 3. Ive always been very careful of my weight and i dress pretty trendy even when im pregnant lol. Its hard to find good looking maternity clothes, that are comfortable, fit right, not expensive and look good. Overalls according to my hubby are sexy during pregnancy because they show your "true" shape. They show nothing BUT the round belly. I wore them one time with my first born lol and i do not own a pair and dont want a pair lol. I do see his point and i think most men probably have this idea. It shows your round tummy, but also your curvy hips and all of that. Depends on how you look in them i guess :)

Not only are they hideous they are not practical. When you have to pee 10 times in an hour, I really don't want to be messing around with the overall straps - that would probably end up dipping in the toilet water at one point because I am in such a rush!

My husband absolutely HATES overalls.... unless they happen to be the only article of clothing on a very busty woman. He says this is because he loves the way the "side-boob" pokes out in them and it blinds him to the way the whole rest of the outfit looks dumpy.
So maybe these people are taking about pregnant busty women in overalls.

I don't think overalls of any type are sexy.... hmm.... if they were, wouldn't that be awesome though? no more lingerie, just slip into some giant denim overalls? I think the ones that are shorts are kinda cute.... but not sexy in the least.

I think it's just the fact that a lot of guys actually think that pregnant women are sexy. It's not the clothing at all.

my husband hates overalls of any kind
there are so many more cute things to wear when pregnant! why would you wear overalls? yuck!!! i dont think anyone over the age of 10 should ever wear overalls.
i'm 31 weeks pregnant and would not be caught dead in maternity overalls.

I love your questions kmennie! They are almost always good for a laugh...I have never heard of overalls on anyone being sexy, especially preggos! There are so many other cute clothes out there for us (unlike my mom's era when clothing options were limited.)

well some women can make any piece of clothing sexy, havent u seen runway mothers on discovery health. lol for real. they could make overalls look really hot. remember as liza says "pregnant women are SEXY" lol

I never thought maternity overalls were hot, but I always enjoyed them when my gf's wore them!
