Some states top out at $250,000. Most lawerys take about 60%. so you will end up with $100,000. I would contact a lawyer.

You have 7 years to file Medical Malpractice. My wife had a simalar issue but Medical Malpractice is hard to claim. In your case you have physical evidence. We could not point the finger at a single person becuase we didn't.

I think that your best bet would be to contact a malpractice lawyer. They are the only ones who can tell you the time limitations for your state and give you an idea of the cost versus benefit in your particular case. Just know that it could be a very long and drawn out process and make sure you're ready to deal with that.

I would get a lawyer, and if you do....do it soon. Im pretty sure that after so long you cant sue, you'll have to check with a lawyer. even though it happened 2 years ago, if she is just now finding out thats the reason why she cant have kids you should still have a case. good luck

I don't think you should take the perspective of how much you can get. No amount of money is going to reimburse infertility.

HOWEVER - I would pursue this, particularly if it turns out that neglect on this dr's part is a common thing. Others shouldn't be hurt by his mistakes.

Does it really matter how much you get? I would just be worried about getting some kind of justice for what happened. You should talk to a lawyer ASAP.

I would go after them if I were you. I couldn't tell you how much you could get. I think you should talk to a lawyer about this.

Good luck!
