I play guitar, and it doesnt matter if you are a women or not - I play full sized guitar, so again it doesnt matter whether you are short or are a women....
I dont know about brand, but if you want a decent acoustic, I'd say a metal string or nylon, over a hundred pounds.... you dont get quality much under that price -

Usually, it's a good idea to avoid a large -- dreadnought or jumbo -- sized guitar; the proportions of a large guitar tend to make women look overpowered.

Also, most women have smaller hands than men, and a guitar with a narrower neck is often a good idea.

If you're looking to spend some serious cash, consider having one custom made for you, you can decide the fret spacing etc, so that it's all yours.

If that's not an option, Ovation makes some good guitars.. I love the hell out of my Ovation electric acoustic, and it was only like 200 bucks.

Daisy guitars are pretty much made for women players, you could also probably get an Ovation if you like the rounded back style of guitar(which I think sucks).

there is no questions asked hands down no other way to go
you have to get an ovation, they are not as expensive, extremely durable, and they have the most amazing acoustic sound you will ever hear

Melissa etheridge plays one if that infleunces you at all

depends on your price range but the celebrity model is very nice you can get them either in a full size or a flat acoustic

If you're willing to spend some loot get a daisy rock. They're hot and they're made for smaller hands.
