The CIA tried to kill Fidel castro on numerous occasions & couldn't pull it off while JFK was in office. (it was probably Bush's fault they failed)

It depends on who they're trying to kill and it wouldn't be the CIA but the corrupt people infiltrating it.

yes they can however are government does not condone such actions and is illegal for us to do, they can plan for contingency operations and such but the likelihood of it happening is minimal, in the international community, assassination is not accepted anymore, think of the repercussions of letting the story out and what it would do to the way americans are looked at here and abroad
